Maddox Photography is located in New Bern, North Carolina and serves the areas of New Bern, Havelock, Cherry Point, Newport, Kinston, Jacksonville, New River, Camp Lejeune, Morehead City, Beaufort, Atlantic Beach, and all the areas in between. I am a lifestyle portrait and event photographer, specializing in family, newborn, senior, & boudoir photography. During the summer of 2013, I’ll be adding event and wedding photography to my repertoire. My style is bold, vibrant, and fun… just like me.
Hello, I’m Niki Lamie and I own Maddox Photography. I operate a small studio in my home, located in the James City area of New Bern, North Carolina. I will also travel to your home or another local spot for on-location shooting in beautiful Eastern Carolina. My favorites include Downtown New Bern, the Croatan National Forest, and Mikes Farm.
What is lifestyle photography? It is capturing the imperfect beauty in life… a more candid and natural style of photography. While in your home, at the beach, or downtown, I capture real life moments. “There is no art more beautiful than life,” and that’s just what I photograph… life in all forms, even down to the family dog {or fish}. I live to capture a moment & take a memory. To be able to look at a photograph, and be instantly taken back in time to that exact moment of your life… is priceless. To give a woman her confidence back, or have it for the first time ever, is truly a joy. I get the emotions you will want to relive years from now & share with future generations. Sweet kisses from your children, snuggling with your newborn, the look in your future husband’s eyes… I love waking up in the morning and going to work, especially since it will allow me to be the stay at home mom I one day dream to be.
I am proud to say that I am a “Welcome Them Home” photographer, offering free photography to our deserving military and their family. I capture the memory or your guy or gal in uniform returning home from a deployment, and all the emotions that go along with it. Every one of my custom tailored Organic Bloom frames is handmade and painted individually. Each one is truly a unique piece of art all on its own. I have taken the utmost care to ensure my prints are of the highest archival quality, and will last longer than you and I will. They are professionally printed and coated with a spray on finish to help protect against dust, scratches, finger prints, & fading. I’ve also taken the time to calibrate my equipment to my professional print lab’s exact standards. My pickiness doesn’t stop there when it comes to offering the best products available to my clients.
